Baneblade, why not? by Pirosan Baneblade, why not? by Pirosan
Naaah. Everyone around me are making baneblades, so why shouldn't i? :(

Warhammer 40k
Imperial Guards Baneblade
Took me about 20 hours to fonish.
Eats about 600k Triangles (screws and armor plates took most of them)

Anyway, it was fun to model this vehicle, I love WH40K universe, so i think that is not my last 3d model based on warhammer40k universe.

I love the little ring of exhaust ports around the barrel; a clever way to disperse the gas away from the crew compartment, much like the Sturmmorser Tiger.

I've always liked the old Forgeworld kit better than the new plastic one. Kudos to you for doing that!

Oooo, yeah! :>

It's shame you don't texture things. Maybe a little co-op in the future, say, vacations?

Will watch ye, anyway ;)

(also, I definitely need to steal that show-style of yours. Nice!)

This is very solid modeling. The only note I have is from real life: Guns that big would have breech/loading assemblies that are far too large for those turrets. But that's no knock on your work. Looks great :)
